While leafing through Gellert’s book of fables, we stumbled across the story of »The Green Donkey«. The title itself arouses your curiosity – but the music is lacking. Not a single note is to be found. So what’s to do about it? We set off in search of hidden noises, sounds and the Baroque world of feeling. With song, body percussion, simple sound instruments, short pieces of music by G. F. Handel and, of course, the imagination of every one of us, together we create a new musical setting for the fable.
