As the most comprehensive Bach collection, the library features a matchless array of manuscripts, rare books and early editions. Next to the State Library in Berlin it contains the largest collection of original Bach sources in the world.
Digital Collections
The Digital Collections of the Bach Archive Leipzig offer their own collection items and important permanent loans for free use. Thus, the Bach Archive would like to make a contribution to the open provision of cultural heritage data.

Bach Bibliography
The Bach Bibliography records international scholarly literature relating to J. S. Bach and comprises approximately 77,000 entries. If you believe something to be missing, please fill out our data entry form so we can continue to develop the Bach Bibliography.
